The Resource Center Network
To support the state's Delaware First early care and education career development system, FWC operates five Child Care Resource Centers. They are located in the City of Wilmington, New Castle, North Wilmington, Dover, and Georgetown.
Collaborative partners include:
- Office of Child Care Licensing
- The Delaware Learning Resource System, a cooperative project between the Department of Education, Delaware Technical and Community College, and the University of Delaware
- Wilmington College
- City of Wilmington, Wilmington Early Care and Education Council, and Red Clay Consolidated School District
- Department of Education
The centers offer a convenient way for early childhood and school-age professionals to access a variety of resources and materials to help enhance their programs.

- Die press system
FWC also operates three mobile resource centers. Technical assistance and learning materials are delivered directly to the program through regularly scheduled appointments.

Sign up is done in person. Please visit any of the locations listed below to join or to have a look around. Children are welcome.
The resource centers are made possible with funding from the federal Child Care Development Fund managed by the Department of Education,State of Delaware Grant-In-Aid, and private donations.

New hours for City of Wilmington Resource Center and New Castle County Resource Center as of September 1.
All centers are closed on the Saturday closest to a holiday, as well as, the last two weeks of December.
