THE RESOURCE CENTER NETWORK AT THE FAMILY & WORKPLACE CONNECTION

The Family & Workplace Connection operates four resource centers in Delaware for use by Early Childhood Education and School-age Care professionals. Well-stocked with a wide selection of interactive educational materials, theme-based curriculum kits, books and information, the resource centers are an asset to any program that provides care and education to children. In addition to selecting items to borrow, members can use the die cut collection and laminator to create and/or preserve projects. Resource Center staff is eager to provide guidance and assistance in choosing age-appropriate activities that fit into a particular curriculum area. In addition to regular business hours, convenient evening and weekend hours are available at all sites. An extension of our centers is a mobile service that brings the educational materials directly to the customer. Materials can be requested in advance or chosen on the spot. Staff can offer technical assistance in all areas of early childhood education from behavior to room arrangement. The service is available statewide. If you work with children and need new ideas to keep your program fresh, please visit one of our centers.
