TimeSaver®

This level of service is designed for the person who needs the added benefit of speaking to a compassionate, knowledgeable elder care specialist who will provide support, guidance, and advice to help sort through options. You may sense that your older relative needs some level of extra assistance, but might not know what form that assistance should take, or how your family will pay for the services. The challenges you face as the caregiver of an older relative can be daunting, but by being prepared and informed, you can make it easier to meet your loved ones’ needs. Here’s how the TimeSaver Service works:

1. At a time convenient to you, complete the online elder care referral request form (below).

2. Within one business day, an FWC staff person will call you to schedule the 30-minute telephone consultation during regular office hours (8am -4pm).

3. During the consultation, an FWC elder care specialist will assess your family’s and your elder’s situation, and offer guidance and advice.

4. The specialist will provide you with referrals representing 20 different services in Delaware, plus related tip sheets.
