Volunteer/Internship Opportunities

The mission of The Family & Workplace Connection is to enhance the supply and quality of care and education for children and elders and to help families effectively manage their work and personal life responsibilities.

We have a need for on-going volunteer support. We also have projects where we could use help from an intern. Below are descriptions of our departments and projects that may be available:

The purpose of the Corporate Services is to provide services and programs to corporations to help their employees effectively manage their work and personal life responsibilities.

  • Assist dependent care specialists with researching information for child care cases; calling service providers and gathering current information, data input and filing

These two departments work together to create awareness and enhance the presence of FWC in the community. The Elder Service Department also works closely with other elder care community agencies to promote development of additional programs and services to better support the needs of Delaware’s older adults.
